Special report 5

Combination of the ancient and modern

You may wondering what am I doing here. The picture on the lower right side, I don't have to explain coz you know clearly about it. The left one. Well, it may not so much interesting to some one who doesn't know about it but if you do know, I want you to look at the thing at the background. Look at both pictures and compare to each other.

Look at that purple octagon          I said, look at the background

************************************************************

Ok, what did you see?

What I am going to say is about that octagon behind the foreground character on each picture. They are put in different angle but if you turn them right, their texture will fully fit to each other.

For more detail, look at the picture below.

Try turn it around, ok?

Is this a coincidence? Not really. That octagon shape object is a Chinese good luck charm. Normally has a symbol of Yin-Yan at its center. However, as all of us know that Ah megamisama is based on norse mythology, so I'm a little suspicious about what Peorth has to do with this Chinese good luck charm. Or what reason Mr.Fujishima choose it as this picture background.

So what the heck the picture on the left side is?
All that I know for now, it is a picture from another manga/anime the same kind to Ah megamisama called "Mamotte syugogetten" produced by Enix/Toei Animetion. Many reviewers frequently compare this series similarity to Ah megamisama. In my opinion, many series copied from the prior successor. This one is not a surprise. For all who know about Mamotte syugogetten and like it, I didn't said that it is bad for following the same path to Ah megamisama. It's just like Scream, I know what you did last summer, Urban legends and many that came along the prior successor's way. The market is still open for this kind of series. Although "Mamotte syugogetten" and "Ah megamisama" are classified in the same type, they're very different. Mamotte syugogetten is a TV series while Ah megamisama is an OVA And Ah megamisama also aim for older audiences. But if any of you like the feelings represent in Ah megamisama (feeling headache and stomachache while watching ^_^)and want to try this one, I suggest you read the manga. As  Jurassic park and Beast novels are so far better than the movie, this is the same.

And a final note, the name "Peorth" is also similar to the name of Russian new destroyer class "Peotr Veliki". Because the word will speak the same. I'm not sure if there's any thing involve. Maybe it's just another coincidence.
